Meet The Artist

Raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught for two years before having my first son. I grew up loving art and drawing, and decided to attempt to learn to oil paint in 2018 and fell in love! I am married to my amazing husband, James, and am currently at home full-time with my two young sons, finding time to paint anytime I can. 

Painting has become my happy place, pulling out my supplies as soon as naptime (or screen time) begins. It has been so meaningful to develop a talent that brings me so much joy and peace, amongst the yells and messes of my two toddlers (whom I love and adore). It has helped me appreciate the world around me differently, noticing shapes, colors, and textures more closely. The process of creating something beautiful and then sharing it with others feels like a gift each and every  time, and I am grateful to be a part of the art community!
